The Wine Wagon is back

We need your wine donations for the auction … to be won at the wine grab bag game. The Wine Wagon will be parked across from the front entrance to the school on Thursday, February 2nd (Groundhog Day!) and Friday, February 3rd at pick up.

(No wine on school grounds, please.)

And remember, if the groundhog sticks his head out and doesn’t see wine, it means sad attendees at the auction (and less funding raised for PTA supported programs).

The FPE PTA Auction “The Great Gatsby” is coming soon so Save the Date for Saturday March 4th!  The doors will open at 5:00 PM for cocktail/raffle tickets.  Dinner and live auction starts at 7pm.

Tickets on Sale now:

Purchase by February 11th @ $45.00/person (includes light buffet dinner and 1 drink ticket) or to secure a table of 10 for $500 (complimentary bottle of champagne).  After February 11th tickets will go up to $55/person, and no option to purchase a table.  Note – teacher tickets are offered at reduced cost, why not sponsor a teacher!

This is the biggest fundraiser for the school which goes directly to supporting our students, teachers and community.  The auction provides essential services for our students. These funds provide resources which include but are not limited to: our School Counselor, program support for the school’s library, physical education, visual arts and music grants, scholarships for families experiencing hardship, school supplies and classroom support, educational field trips and assemblies, and much, much more! On a lighter note, this is a FUN event and provides a way to foster our community spirit.

Volunteers needed to help Classroom Set-Up!!!

Volunteer opportunities to help FPE teachers set up their classrooms are now live on the website- some are even for today! This is a great way to get familiar with the school and it’s many fabulous teachers.


Incoming Kindergarten Families Meet & Greet Dates

The PTA would like to invite incoming kindergarten families to gather at the Fairmount playground for an opportunity to meet each other before school starts. Each of the following take place after Jumpstart has concluded.

  • Monday, August 22nd, 12:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, August 23th, 12:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, August 24th, 12:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, August 25th, 12:00 p.m.
  • Friday, August 26th, 12:00 p.m.

Come to the Fairmount Playground and meet other families, make new friends, reunite with old ones, play on the playground, and learn more about the Fairmount Park school community!
